NPL Estates - What Happens Now

What Happens Now

NPL Estates, through its subsidiary King Street Energy (Cheshire) Ltd has now submitted a planning application for the gas storage facility and accompanying Environmental Impact Assessment to Cheshire County Council.

NPL is continuing to engage fully with all stakeholders on this project both throughout the planning process and throughout the construction and operation of the facility.

NPL is liaising closely with the Parish Councils in order to disseminate information on this project. In addition NPL’s website will provide up-to-date information and progress.

Working In Partnership

Community ConsultationNPL is a champion of the partnership approach. In the case of the Ardeer site at North Ayrshire, NPL’s partnership with the local authority helped to present a united front to central government.

NPL enthusiastically partners other commercial organisations, where combined strength, skills and experience can greatly enhance a project.

Pivotal to the industry, however, is the partnership between developers and the local community, and a truly successful development is one which meets the aspirations of the local community.

Through comprehensive consultation and design, NPL seeks to minimise the potential negative impacts of developments and maximize their benefits.
